Some members of Inishowen Sub Aqua Club are Volunteer to the Local RNLI Station. Lough Swilly is the only lifeboat station in Ireland to operate three lifeboats – two inshore lifeboats and one all weather Tyne class lifeboat. Situated on the Inishowen peninsula the lifeboats provide cover for a variety of commercial and leisure marine activities.
